Yeah, for the time u have to spend in there the rewards should be better, you dont get any gold, the drops are crap...almost no chests and after 2 hrs in there youre not even sure if u get a green and that sucks..there should always be somekind of reward for everyone for finishing it. second its already frustrating not to get a green after the time u are in there, its even more frustrating if someone gets 2 or sometimes even 3 greens. for the ones that finish it there should atleast be a rare drop. The way it is now it takes the fun away foor a lot of people becouse it takes so long.

Did it to the end 5 times recently, never manage to get a decent group, usually 1 to 3 players left on level 1 or 2 but we succed without them.
The bad parts:
-each time i did (i know 5 times mean nothing ) we get 5-7 greens drop and ALWAYS 2-4 for ONE guys!
-worst party ever: the one who got 3 green was PLAYING AFK since level 2(i mean do like if afk but suddenly there to avoid death).
I shouldn't complain, i finally get a green....Milius' Eye.........
Spend every time 2 hours with PUGS, ... surely guild groups or friends group are good, but random erf... leavers, errors, afk... wonderful isn't it? Don't speak of coordination/camaradrie with a random PUG... but maybe you didn't entend to

This really wouldnt be necessary if guild wars had a lotto for Blue+Drops like the other MMOs. A need before greed system, in wow and eq2 players only roll (yes a lotto comes up for each blue/green/gold/purple item) if they can use that item for there current charecter and need it, those that do roll need, those that dont roll greed. If nobody needs it everyone rolls greed and everyone has a fair chance of winning it.... If you roll an item that you dont need normally called "Ninja" and kicked from the party :P
i do think if you manage to get ina group that reaches in the end you should get some.. recognition at least.

I think giving each party member who finished the UW run a green item sounds pretty fair to me. It sucks being the only one who has to walk away empty handed... There is really nothing fair about some people getting 3 items and some getting nothing. This has nothing to do with greed or "farming" - it's about getting properly rewarded for accomplishments. Both killing monsters and the rewards are a part of the fun. Solving one of the hardest PvE challenges GW currently has to offer should be enough for getting a greenie, don't you think?

What has happend to you people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GW is about fun or why play it (no talking to chinese bot farmers selling there fortunes on ebay) plus greens are somethng to strive for. without greens chest runs would be the only thing and there easy to do. After a while key prices would rise ad everyone would quit GW do to expence. Btw if your group hasnt go to Hoh well... its not that hard even for the wars and monks. After doing "new uw" a few times you will be that "lucky person" so you will be rich... 3.5 hour runs means your build is flawed if you have 8 people.
For those in need (uw team build)
3 monks
1-2 wars
2 eles
1 ss
0-1 mm
(2 wariors is faster but more difficult) (mms make life easy but longer)

Racthoh made a good point. I wonder what will happen to the UW 2 when the prices of the green items go down, and that's only a matter of time. The way it is now, people do the UW 2 because they want to try it (their first time) or because they want that one green item that's dropping. In SF there are at least some quests to do, they're a fun way to spend some time down there. But in UW 2, the only thing (I can see) why people go there, is for the green items. And when those prices go down (like the SF ones), I wonder how many people are still gonna go there...
You could deny it's not about the green items that drop, but why did this post get posted then and why do so many people agree? More green drops, means more farmers, means more green items, means lower prices and probably means a sooner end of UW 2.

Apart from that, how come so much crap drops from the monsters in there. You get enough white raven staffs for everyone to fill their inventory, and only like 120 gold drops per guy. Would make more sense if we each got like 50-100 gold per guy.
The fact is this dungeon takes a long time to complete, if you aren't going to be rewarded until the end then the end should make up for it. Why aren't weapon mods and other golds dropped? At the end of the day these greens aren't that great, a defense mod is better than fortitude for most people on staves, furious is better than sundering....
Most of the greens were impossible to sell after about a day...so in the future its basically going to be only a few worth anything at all, and odds are somthing like 50/50 you get a green at all...nevermind one of these greens worth a lot.
Your still better off soloing/duoing than cooperating in a somewhat large group if you want good loot...just not right.

I'll actually adhere to the notion that things even out over time. For example, one of the Warriors I know has played this game since April or May, and has yet to get an item drop worth more than 50k, if that. He's played in excess of 1000 hours, but the camaraderie of guild groups keeps him coming back. This past week alone, he's gotten 2-3 rather good drops that should net him in excess of 200k. That may not be a lot to many here, but for him, its a sort of validation that the game wasnt out to screw his account over.
It may not seem like it now, but eventually, every dog gets their steak.

While I still feel everyone should at least get one green from this, I also think its kind of silly now. These things have been farmed to death in days. The prices dropped so dramatically, that one day your staff could sell for 25k and the next you couldn't get more than 10k.
Eventually everyone will have these, they are what the SF greens were supposed to be. Its working out pretty good, I don't feel the need to go in there all the time like I did with SF, because I see the major decline in price. I still go in everyone once in a while, hoping I get what I want, if I don't, I sell and just keep saving and waiting for the day that the green I want drops low enough.

Most of the new greens are worthless anyway, but I believe what really eats people up is how someone can get excess.. while they go with none, when there is more than enough to go around! You can say it is fair and whatever you call it, but you can't deny it is going to upset a whole lot of people.

LOL - I find the new area (Tombs) to be just hilarious. IMO Anet is having a good laugh over creating an area the takes hours to complete with little or no chance of getting much in return. It's like they made it just to annoy those greedy get-rich-quick players.
Not only that, I get a lot of enjoyment watching people put together PUGs. You have to be R3 (like rank makes a difference -LOL), have TS/Vent, or even a specific profession build (which usually doesn't make sense). It's also really funny to see people complaining that half their party bailed before the end (like how many will stick out 2-3hrs of no drops anyway).
So, seeing this thread is really makes me chuckle. The chance that Anet will increase the drops is pretty much nil. They are having way to much fun seeing all the suckers lining up to get ripped off, all the while thinking they are going to strike it rich.
Sure, there are a few making some coin, but that's the beauty of it. ANET made is just enough to keep the others coming. It really is just too, too, funny.
